FAQ
The questions I get asked most.
- Who owns the website after it's finished?
- You do. Domain, hosting and any accounts are set up in your name.
- Can I edit the website myself afterwards?
- Not by default. I handle updates so everything stays working correctly, priced separately from the build — either pay-as-you-go or on a monthly care plan.
- Do you handle hosting and the domain?
- Yes, I can set these up under your own accounts, or work with what you already have. Domain and hosting typically run £100–£300 a year, paid at cost.
- How long does a project take?
- Typically 1–3 weeks depending on the package, once you've sent over your photos and details.
- How does payment work?
- 50% deposit to start, 50% on completion before launch. Every project has a written scope and price agreed first.
- What if I want changes during the build?
- Two rounds of changes are included in the smaller packages, three in the largest. Anything beyond that, or a change of direction mid-build, is quoted separately before I start it.
- Do you do online shops or booking systems?
- Not yet. Shopping carts, customer accounts and custom booking systems aren't something I offer at this stage — I'd rather say so than deliver one badly.
- What if my current site is on Wix, WordPress or Facebook only?
- That's completely fine and very common. I'll rebuild it properly and, if you only have a Facebook page right now, this will be your first real website.
